Andrew Mullins, D.O.

Dr. Andrew Mullins is a passionate and dedicated Interventional Radiologist with an exceptional background in healthcare and military service. After completing a medical degree at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine through a Navy Health Professions Scholarship, Dr. Mullins embarked on a journey of service, including a surgical internship at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, and two years as a General Medical Officer with Special Boat Team-22. His commitment to keeping Naval Special Forces members healthy at the forefront of action showcases their unwavering dedication.

 

Following residency and fellowship, Dr. Mullins served as an Interventional Radiologist at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, deploying to Kandahar Airfield in Afghanistan to support Operation Enduring Freedom. This valuable experience allowed him to save lives and provide critical care in a challenging environment. With an honorable rank of Commander after 17 years of distinguished service, Dr. Mullins transitioned to private practice, building a thriving Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology practice at a community hospital.

 

Now, Dr. Mullins is excited to join forces with Dr. Williams in Peoria, sharing the passion for aggressively treating peripheral arterial disease to prevent life-altering consequences like amputation. Together, they aim to improve access to high-quality care for the people of Peoria and its surrounding areas. With a firm commitment to delivering the highest level of care, Dr. Mullins looks forward to making a significant impact on the lives of their patients in Peoria.

James B. Williams, M.D.

Since establishing Cardiac Thoracic & Endovascular Therapies in 2000, Dr. James B. Williams has remained unwavering in his dedication to the Central Illinois community, providing “easy in, easy out” limb-saving and endovascular treatments. His focus on cutting-edge techniques and state-of-the-art equipment ensures that patients receive the most advanced care available. Dr. Williams’ expertise in endovascular therapies has helped countless individuals avoid more invasive procedures, resulting in faster recoveries and improved quality of life. His commitment to excellence and compassionate approach have earned him the trust and admiration of both patients and colleagues alike.

Moreover, Dr. Williams looks forward to expanding the reach of his practice by welcoming a new provider on board. By adding another skilled professional to the team, he envisions a greater number of individuals in the community benefiting from their combined expertise and diverse set of skills.
